I was with my wife, in an obviously historical timeframe because we were seated in a coliseum, Roman style. There was a huge tower in front of us. I remember thinking how incredible it was that mankind could build such structures. There was an Emperor about to address the crowd when I realized our daughters were not with us. I looked at my smartphone and saw a live feed of some men wearing suits, walking in some kind of parade. I had a feeling these men were holding my daughters captive. These feelings were confirmed when I sent an SMS to my daughter, and I saw the man reach for a phone on the live feed. He messaged back declaring 'not this time kiddo' .. which I assumed meant he wasn't going to let my daughter communicate with me. My attention turned to another man who was seated near my wife and I. For some reason, I knew he was the 'boss' of the men on the live feed, and I found myself placing my hand on his forehead and commanding the power of the Lord upon him. In essence, I prayed for him. He resisted by I applied more force and prayer. Eventually his two assistants also laid their hands upon him and prayed. I saw him shed a tear, an acknowledgement that our prayers were getting through to him. Then, a wonderful moment when my Grandmother appeared. I turned and embraced her; it was so real. I told her I loved her before waking up in a very peaceful state. I shed a quick tear after waking.
This dream is rich with imagery and symbolism, reflecting a blend of your personal experiences, emotions, and perhaps unresolved feelings about family, power, and spirituality. Let’s break down the key elements for interpretation:
The historical setting of the coliseum symbolizes the grand scales of life—those moments of great import and drama. It suggests that you are aware of the larger context of your life, where personal matters intersect with historical or societal themes. The coliseum also represents a space of conflict and confrontation, possibly reflecting current tensions or challenges in your life.
The tower can symbolize aspirations, achievements, or perhaps obstacles in your life. It stands tall and represents the feats that mankind can accomplish, echoing your admiration. This could reflect your desire to reach new heights or overcome difficulties, as well as your appreciation for achievements—whether personal or collective.
The absence of your daughters introduces a sense of vulnerability and concern. Dreaming of missing loved ones often mirrors fears or anxieties about their safety or well-being. The live feed, technology, and the sense of captivity can indicate feelings of helplessness, reflecting a struggle with control, especially in matters of protection and care for your children.
The men in suits holding your daughters symbolize authority or control, possibly reflecting fears about outside influences in your family's life. The inability to communicate with your daughters may highlight feelings of distance or disconnect in your relationships, whether it's about safeguarding their future or your role in their lives.
Your instinct to pray for the man, who embodies the ‘boss’ of the captors, showcases a profound aspect of your nature—your desire to influence, help, and transform negativity into something positive. This action implies you hold a sense of responsibility and power, even in dire situations. Your prayer was not just an act of desperation but also a testament to your belief in the potential for change and redemption.
The man shedding a tear symbolizes a breakthrough—emotional vulnerability that can lead to connection and resolution. His resistance followed by acceptance mirrors the complexity of human interaction; that often, it takes perseverance and love—symbolized through prayer—to reach someone.
The appearance of your grandmother represents comfort, wisdom, and perhaps a sense of familial legacy. Embracing her and expressing love indicates a need for support and guidance in your current situation. Grandparents often serve as anchors in our lives, reminding us of our roots and the values passed down through generations.
Waking up in a state of peace signifies a resolution within yourself. The tears shed may express a release of pent-up emotions, acknowledging the fears and concerns while also recognizing the love that binds your family. Overall, this dream suggests a journey through worry and introspection, leading to a deeper understanding of your connection with your daughters and the strength of your familial bonds.
In summary, this dream encapsulates themes of power struggles, familial bonds, the potential for change through prayer and love, and seeking comfort in beloved figures from your past. It encourages you to continue fostering those relationships and cultivate a proactive approach to protecting your loved ones from external stressors.
